If you’re looking for a tire cleaner that actually works then, you need to try OmniClean. It’s by far the best & most effective tire cleaner on the market.
Some All-purpose cleaners & wheel cleaners are just not designed to clean tires efficiently, even though they look like they are working. They don’t dissolve and remove all the oils, old dressings, wax & browning that is on the tire. These contaminants need to be fully removed to enable the Black Pearl Trim & Tire Armour to bond to the rubber, ensuring you get the maximum life out of the coating.
OmniClean is a powerful alkaline cleaner that is formulated by Providential Coatings LLC, who also manufacture Black Pearl. The two products are designed to work correctly together. The OmniClean will clean and strip any old dressings or waxes and remove ingrained dirt from the tire so that the tire is clean and ready for the Black Pearl Trim and Tire Armour to be applied.
Ensuring your tires are as clean as possible before applying Black Pearl Trim & Tire Armour is so important. Other cleaners will not remove all the contaminants as effectively, which is why OmniClean is the only one we recommend cleaning your tires with.
The image shows a tire which has been cleaned, bothin accordance with manufacturers instructions. One side shows beading , this side has been cleaned with an all-purpose cleaner (APC) . The other side has been cleaned with OmniClean. There is no beading on this side.
So what does this mean? Well, the beading shows that there is something still on the tire, most likely residue tire dressing or wax. The APC is not able to remove what is causing the beading, but the OmniClean is more powerful and able to breakdown the contaminants which are causing the beading.
If there is still beading on the tire after you think you have cleaned it sufficiently and you apply a tire coating like Black Pearl Trim & Tire Armour, the coating will have difficulty bonding to the rubber tire. This will reduce the longevity of the product as, after a limited period of time, the coating will start to flake off as the product wasn't able to bond effectively with the rubber tire.
When testing OmniClean Vs APC
We found that on average, when using OmniClean, you only need to clean the tire 2-3 times, to ensure it was free of all dirt/contaminants and no beading occurred. However when we used the all-purpose cleaner( no matter the dilution rate), even after cleaning as many as10 times the beading remained and it took 3 – 4 times before the foam went white.

How To Use OmniClean.
- Spray over the tire
- Use a stiff scrubbing brush, scrub vigorously
- Leave for 5 mins, to allow the cleaner to remove & break down any oils, waxes or dressing
- Rinse and repeat until the foam is white
