What Is Black Pearl?
It is simply a better approach to tire dressing & trim restoring.
Black Pearl Trim and Tire Armour is a water-based, polymer-based tyre & trim coating.
The polymers employed are similar to those used in the architectural paint industry. Through a careful selection of additives, the final cured films have the necessary flexibility and durability to perform on tire surfaces without cracking or separating. This is despite the stresses imposed by the ‘bend and stretch’ distortion forces associated with rotating tyres, and it can endure the harshest weather conditions.
Unlike conventional silicone oil-based products, Black Pearl does not contain any volatile organic compounds (VOC’s). It doesn’t contain any flammable, toxic, irritating, carcinogenic solvents or additives. Black Pearl will not damage paint, plastic, or any other surface-type that it may come into contact with. Unlike conventional products which usually contain petroleum distillates, which, with repeated use, may eventually damage tires, It will not de-nature (i.e., damage) the tire rubber. Black Pearl’s unique composition means that it will not cause ‘fish-eye’ in auto body paint applications.
Black Pearl forms a dry film, which means that it does not sling during driving or smear

During this time the treated surface must remain dry and the vehicle should not be driven.
Can the foam rollers be re-used?
Yes. After rinsing and squeezing under the tap several times, soak them in a cup of water for a few hours, and rinse please don’t worry if the product has cured in the foam as we sell spare rollers and applicators.
How many coats should be applied to the tires or trim?
We recommend a minimum of 2 coats, but for the best results, we would suggest that 3 or 4 coats are better. You can layer Black Pearl as many times as you need in order to achieve the desired finish, the more coats you apply, the more durable it will be and the longer it will last.

No, in fact, Black Pearl is able to resist strong alkaline cleaners like OmniClean & power washing is generally not a problem.

As Black Pearl is a water-based product, keep chemicals with organic solvents (e.g. alcohols, acetone, thinners, petroleum distillates, product examples Tar removers, nail polish remover, IPA & panel wipes, away from any surfaces coated with Black Pearl because these products will probably remove or damage the coating.
